Why hello there!

If you’ve been here before, this page might look familiar. If you’re new, welcome! I like to create little corners of my website for secret projects I haven’t officially announced… and today, that corner is Project Flight Path, my newest secret project: an airport meet-cute.

But let’s be honest—the day that inspired this story was not cute.

I was in New Jersey, trying to get home. It was freezing (your northern girl is no longer a northern girl—my blood is thin), the airport was packed, and after getting through security, I found… nothing. Absolutely nothing.

Finally, I get down to my gate, and the fire alarm goes off. FOR 45 MINUTES STRAIGHT. I finally find a place to sit, exhausted, cold, and procrastinating editing (sorry, First Pitch Lovers).

Then he shows up.

He sits directly across from me—which fine, the airport was crowded—but immediately, he’s rude to everyone around him. And I sit there, observing this chaos… and the idea hits me.

Fast forward a hyper-focused writing session, and almost 10,000 words later, here’s a sneak peek:
